Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Job Genie(the “Service”). The Service is operated by Muhammad Usman Dawoodi (“we”, “us”). By using Job Genie, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What Job Genie does

Job Genie helps you organize job applications, generate draft outreach using automated tools (including third-party AI), store resumes, and send messages from your own Google or Microsoft email account when you choose to send. Features may change over time.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old. You sign in with Google or Microsoft; we don't offer a separate password login. You're responsible for keeping your Google/Microsoft account secure and for what happens under your session.

3. Your content

You keep your rights to what you upload (job descriptions, resumes, drafts). You give us permission to host, process, and display that content only to run and improve Job Genie — including sending snippets to AI providers for drafting and to Google or Microsoft when you send email. You confirm you have the right to share what you upload and that it's lawful.

4. AI output

Drafts can be wrong or incomplete. Job Genie isn't legal or career advice. Read everything before you send. You're responsible for what goes out from your mailbox and for following employment and communications rules that apply to you.

5. Email

Messages go out from your connected Gmail or Outlook using permissions you granted. Follow your provider's rules and don't spam people who didn't expect to hear from you.

6. Please don't misuse the Service

For example, don't:

  • Use Job Genie for anything illegal, harmful, or deceptive;
  • Upload malware, break into systems, or try to access data you're not allowed to see;
  • Reverse-engineer the Service except where the law clearly allows it;
  • Scrape or resell the Service without asking us first;
  • Harass people or send bulk unsolicited email against the rules of your provider or the law.

7. Other companies' services

We rely on Supabase, Google, Microsoft, Together AI, and a hosting provider. Their terms apply too. We're not responsible for their outages or policy changes.

8. Service as-is

Job Genie is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we don't promise it will always be error-free or available. Use it at your own judgment.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect damages (like lost profits or lost data). If something goes wrong, our total liability for all claims related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) what you paid us in the last twelve months for Job Genie or (b) US $100 if you haven't paid anything.

10. If you cause a problem

If a third party sues us because of your content, how you used Job Genie, or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses — except where we've done something clearly wrong on purpose.

11. Ending access

We may suspend or end access if you seriously break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we wind the product down (we'll try to give reasonable notice when we can). You can stop using Job Genie anytime.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll bump the “Last updated” date. If it's a big change, we may also note it in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms follow the laws of the country where the operator resides, without getting into conflict-of-law puzzles. If you have a concern, email us first — we'd rather sort it out in good faith than jump straight to formal disputes. Nothing here takes away rights you can't waive under the consumer laws where you live.

14. Contact and data deletion

Questions about these terms: xmrtusman@gmail.com (primary) or mail.usmandawoodi@gmail.com.

To delete your account and all data we hold, follow the steps in our Privacy Policy — Deleting your account and data.
